Manalo Sud Est Soil Geochemistry
|
The Manalo Sud Est zone is a pronounced northwesterly striking quartz vein system associated with artisanal mine workings and a broad 1300 metre long by 50 to 400 metre wide gold-in-soil geochemical anomaly. The vein zone was traced by way of intermittent quartz vein rubble crop for a distance of 600 metres. At the south end of the anomalous area artisanal workings exposed a northeasterly trending quartz vein for approximately 120 metres.
Manalo Sud Est was tested 1,057 metres of reverse circulation drilling in 11 holes in 2008. Graphitic and pyritic siltstones were intersected. The best intercept was in hole MSE-08-003 where 79 to 83 metres returned a value of 0.81 gpt Au over 4 metres.
