MANALO
The Manalo Gold Project lies in the prolific Birimian Greenstone Belt of Western Africa within the Democratic Republic of Mali. Delta Exploration Inc. completed over $2.4 million in expenditures on the Manalo Gold Project between 2004 and 2008 including: property wide soil geochemistry and airborne geophysics, ground geophysics and 15,478 metres of reverse circulation and diamond drilling totaling 159 holes. Six gold zones have been identified.
Appleton commenced a US$500,000 drilling program May 2009 following up on the Dialafara Zone. Highlights from the previous drilling on the Dialafara Zone include values of 29.07 grams per tonne (gpt) over 6 metres and 15.64 gpt over 16 metres.

SPENCES BRIDGE
The Spences Bridge Gold project lies in the Spences Bridge Gold Belt of south-central British Columbia. Appleton acquired the ground in 2006 as its grass roots listing property and has concentrated largely on the key Dora Property since that time completing over $725,000 in exploration expenditures including: detailed soil geochemistry, airborne geophysics and two phases of excavator trenching. Four gold zones have been located.
Appleton plans a initial drilling program later in 2009 to follow up on the gold zones. Highlights from the trenching include bedrock chip results of 2.74 gpt over 4 metres in the F1 Zone.
